considering in today's PC environment that the Marian character has been completely rewritten it's no big loss.

apart from the fact it's 99% fiction anyway

Well, the legend of Robin hood anyway, you know just the story that's told. Up until now they were elaborating upon it and it was fairly good, but now it seems the writers are making it up as they're going along.
