but surely they should maintain some 'realism', I mean I'd go along with the errol flynn version where he spilts an arrow in two (even though mythbusters proved it was highly improbable)

Without offending anyone here there are many things that are part of everyday lifes that by other arn't seen as "realistic" a perfect example is religion! And to quickly swoop this on topic do you think that there will be peace in the holy land and the king will come back next series?

As for the factual references 'I can kill a man at 1000 yards' not with a bow and arrow you can't mate .... apart from not being able to see him , even with today's compound bows, carbon arrows and fancy sights you can't get an effective range over 200 yards, with a std recurve bow you're lucky to get 6 arrows in a target thats 5 foot wide at 100 yards.

I can imagine you on set. Everyone would think you were well cool.

Well, the legend of Robin hood anyway, you know just the story that's told. Up until now they were elaborating upon it and it was fairly good, but now it seems the writers are making it up as they're going along.

Basically what I'm saying is why did the hot girl have to die?!

she quit the show to go to Hollywood and do films apparently
