Advice/Suggestions + Good breakout/action pictures?

i would say change the free gift thing - it looks like you couldnt be bothered anymore and just used powerpoint to add that in.

no offence. rest looks good, get a couple of pics up and it will be looking quite good i think

I didnt really want to put the free gift thing either, but I have to have something that grabs attention or promotes something (....damn teacher), but ill make two versions of the final one then, one with it and without. That way I can compare the two.

And yeah, the splat isnt great. But I really wanted one that looked like a splat that was dripping down, and thats all I could really find. Anyone got any decent pics or brushes that are good for paint splats?

i didnt mean remove it, but try and make it a little less "tacky" as it were. look through picture of mag front covers to get an idea

i would choose a picture first , then work the rest around that as the picture is your real attention grabber or anchorage

Ok ill make the free gift thing less tacky, but its just a rough draft more or less and working into it more and more.

I will be making something 3D, dont know what it will be yet though

Sorry about size, Im making it in Photoshop CS2, and the picture is A4 size as eventually once its done it will be printed off and put together as a magazine.
