Markers From the USA?

Q. If my mate goes to the US and brings me a new marker back in his suit case, what are the chances of getting screwed. Not for having and apparent gun in his case, but by C+E:eek:
There is no law saying you cant bring a marker through customs. If they wanted to get funny though I suppose they could ask you to prove you bought it here. I didnt have a problem taking and bringing my gear through :)

Think you will find that once you press the button to buy EBay WONT allow you to complete the transaction UNLESS the seller has specified in his postage instructions that he will ship to the UK. Then he wont be able to do that as like Nobby said, they are not allowed to sell to the UK.
You could try emailinghim direct and buying but then you have no comeback if your item goes missing.
Its easy this buying from the States isnt it??? :p

I tried emailing lots of potential US sellers asking if they would post to the UK and asuring them that I was not trying to scam them. Some never replied, some say no due to the ebay selling and banned export rules but a few were willing to sell as long as they had the money first. Most important is to use ebay Emails to make sure you have a backup plan that they except breaking the rules;)

Is it really worth it though???
I did buy loads of markers from the US when I came back into paintball. It just all seems too much hassle now though to save a few quid

You must admit that there are some things that are just to dam hard to get over here though. I have an old skool DM3, and any chance to get parts is an opportunity if I have the money. Why have an old marker? well it does the trick and I don't play to much, as I have to pay for me + my lad. ! good day with my lad is worth a lifetime of crap ones:p
