First up, there is no conspiracy to keep Joy out of it, you've got biased judges for sure but it isn't conspiratorial, it's ignorant-ass numbskulls doing favors, that's all.
And some of these refs will indulge in what I like to call 'default bias' whereby they don't allow any benefit of the doubt for teams like Joy but are somewhat more magnanimous when it comes to fellow countrymen , especially 'well known' fellow countrymen.

As for how the 'powers that be' will view this situation?
For those of you who feel the NPPL hierarchy will treat it lightly, you are wrong.
Bruce Walker, the guy behind the NPPL will have no truck whatsoever with biased judging, either default or intentional and will do whatever it takes to put it right.

With this in mind, certain things are going on in the background that may well prove to be helpful to this cause and maybe 08 will turn out to be much better all round for both industry and player.

As for Magued and the guys, I talked at length with Magued just prior to him going public and his decision is most certainly the right one under the circumstances.
What has happened to Joy is an absolute disgrace but not all is lost, 'There's many a slip twixt cup and lip' as they say, and maybe things will change to maybe persuade Magued to change his mind before the final curtain falls on his NPPL participation...........

I know this is no way the same and not trying to compare it at all.

But when we played the beach this year even at that low of a level you could tell the reff's where going to do you over we had so many bad calls. but was still fun just to play it.

even the guys on the team said we should have called ourselves just the firm instead of the firm UK
