Lose a game ???
I played all day and I never lost a game, a win on body count is a technical draw. The team that got our flag did not hang it because once he grabbed the flag I attacked his mate toe to toe at point blank range (who I couldnt see in the dark), and stopped the flag carrier getting in to his flag base. We had played the same team from the end that they had (ie the good end) and beat them in about a minute. From the bad end (no excuse) and in virtual darkness (it helps if I can see) yes they got our flag away and I appologised to my team for having black lenses (definately my fault) in my goggles which was the only reason they got anywhere near the flag. I was disturbed by the disrespectful and abusive comments both personal to me and aimed at the team, yelled at me and John Boy from the new member of this otherwise friendly team during this game. It appeared that the new member felt that the team that hadn`t lost a game in the four tournaments in this league had something to prove to him. I thought he was a pratt, while he was busy shouting his abuse we suckered him in to getting shot by sneaking John Boy up a ditch to silence him from a couple of feet away, I heard he needed new underpants after that. I always enjoy playing in the woods and this has been a really friendly series with some good close games. I dont think that we will win every game but I try like hell to and I find it amusing that a claim of a win is being declared by a count of one body, I was always led to believe that a flag hang signalled a win but the time running out does not. During this series a lot of the teams have improved no end including the team who got our flag, a second team almost got it away earlier in another cracking game. Before you can say you have beat someone you need to hang their flag in the appropriate base. I`m looking forward to the next series but I think a gauntlet has been chucked in now so its going to get very interesting from now on in.
