its amazing how quickly they can bend the "locked at max 60 teams" rule if there is the chance of making a couple more Euros.

Pity they never seem to put right any of the problems highlighted by players so quickly, if it has any danger of costing them a little bit of money its simple,no chance.

For as long as there is 7 man being played Stateside, then Europe cannot proclaim its death.
The NPPL, or rather what the NPPL does in the next few months will prove crucial as to how things go over there and therefore over here.
i think it will split in two two different formats and 7man will llive for now :)

I wasn't being entirely serious.

However, there really doesn't seem to be the appetite for 7-man any more, on our side of the pond at least, hence the continuing squeeze between 5-man and X-alike in the Millenniums. The results of a highly scientific survey (which consisted of me looking at a few forum posts and recent events I've been to) report that 7-man attendance at local events is down too, even while 5-man is increasing. And it seems like there are finally a reasonable number of UK teams willing to put their money where their mouth is and sign up for X-ball variants.

Looks to me like 7-man's on the ropes in Europe, even if it's too early to write it off just yet.
