I'd like to see Xball or CPL rules with the addition of no side line coaching.
Never gonna happen - As far as I see it, the whole crux of the multi-point format is allowing spectators a chance to be involved more in the game.
Having the short turn-arounds keeps interest from waning (at least in theory), and the whole coaching/crowd participation is an integral part of that.

Problem with paintball is, it doesn't make sense from 50-100 feet away - you miss the "percentage" hits (fingers/clips on packs when diving) etc. so you need the crowd up close - Toulouse or Marseille was better to watch than Bitburg because the stands were closer to the action, having the stands closer to the action means that coaching (be it from designated people or just the crowd) will take place.

Do you really want to sit in silence like Wimbledon when watching Joy and Nexus knocking heads?

Sorry I meant the coach coaching. I love having the crowd go crazy! Thats half the reason I try so hard to get to the finals every month :). Plus you can never understand what 500 screaming people are saying.

Crowd participation = yay!
coach = boo!
