walk on days are great, it takes you away from the serious side (tourneys) and you get back the real reason for why you started playing paintball... cause even adults like to play soldier:):)

more like make more money from paint :rolleyes:
hmmm... how do you figure? encouraging people to keep their heads up = less 'blind firing' = less wild shots = more paint for kills... plus for 1st timers, we prefer to prevent muggings, and being able to keep your head up, without the risk of elimination, prevents muggings... some people dont react well to it... the weirdo's.

because---

if the person has no come back for a headshot / gun shot, they will just sit with there head & gun over the barricade shooting moreso than they would do hiding (and dare i say) "snapping" out from behind a barricade, whereby you need to conceal all of your body/hitzones in the case of "no holds barred".

who said anythin about us not counting gun shots? our reasoning behind it is to PREVENT people from leaving their gun up, shooting wildly at anything.

Punters always get head shots, but using the head shots don't count rule is just a pure cash generator for the site owners. It has nothing to do with safety or anything like that it's just pure cash, cash, cash.
I used to work a site that played that rule and that was the only reason the owner gave us.
The same owner also tests his paint from an 8ft drop and if it breaks then it's too fragile for him as he uses the motto "dead players can't shoot paint"!
woodsball don't ya just love it!

Oooo great come back, did you think that up all on your own?......Oh and great law suit for the site operator who has to be seen to be whiter than white, as hard paint is down to his supplier, it's not his problem;)

sweeping generalisation on my part, not wholly aimed just at your site. sorry for that....

however, in thiking about it, keeping head shots free also means that players can move less. if you are always in visible contact with the opposition, their ability to advance (such as by dominating your bunker) is vastly reduced, unless they manage to toally gogg the fck outta your lens (unlikely with ~6bps site markers with less than stellar accuracy). ergo, the oppostion cant ghost to your bunker as effectively, which in ding so would leave them with a potential clean shot from a better position. means more long distance trade offs, using more paint.

so in summary, any part of the body where hits dont count all serves, imho, to increase paint consumption, directly proportional to site profits.

thats my logic anyway. no offence.
