space is awash with radiation as you said , but is is also awash with other stuff that can pass thru lead and most things ,we are constantly being bombarded by particals from the left over of the big bang , i prob still dont make sense

im sorry, but seeing as im doing a physics degree, i refuse to listen to anything physics related from someone who cant spell particles
