i get the queezies whenever i have any constant pain, i.e tattoos, multiple injections etc etc.

Love tattoos though so it is worth it. Hopefully I'll have 2 full sleeves one day but the length of time it takes me to work out what i want it could be many years from now.

Bah. My chest piece took a 4 hour sitting to do. Sternum work is pretty painful, I struggled at times, but sucked it up and took it like a man.

I got a chest piece done aswell (in two hour sessions though:cool:) It was my first tat:eek: Hurt a bit, but as you said.....you bite yer lip and take the pain. The difference with my back was that he was doing three hours around the armpit area and that kanes like hell. Although it hurt I can hold my head high in the knowledge that not one tear was shed during the whole process and at no time did I yelp out "I want my momma:p"

I was going to have my chest done but the tattoo needle couldn't pierce steel

:D

I know everyone here is a big strong manly man  so here's a suggestion if your wife/girlfriend/mother is having trouble sitting through her tattoo session.

Bring some juice/soda/pop and some gum or mints. the sugar helps with the light-headed feeling and having something to chew/suck on helps take your mind off of the needle. As has been said before, alcohol + tattoo = bad combination.

The only pain reflief I had was

Pierre "Does that hurt?"
Me (through gritted teeth) "Yeah, just a bit..."
Pierre "Don't be a f**king pussy."
