Tatoo's

The tribal ones are the ones I understand least,to what do they pertain or signify?
People at work are always on about them if tatoo's come up in conversation;can hardly call themselves part of a tribe living in Slough...
Iam being cynical as to the significance of these...if you had a childs name,a political group or a football team that's easy to understand, but tribal...is that as quoted earlier a flavour of the month..
They generally don't signify anything, just a pattern that somebody likes.

That's all I wanted to know about them,I just thought certain patterns meant different things.
My asbo-neighbour has nutty skins on his right arm and the snake wrapped around the stilleto blade on his left calf(half done it must have hurt too much),both done in a rather fetching indian ink styleee, done years ago at school.

I got my 1st tat done about 2 years ago - tribal to by own design on the upper right arm. I'd been contemplating getting inked for years, and finally went for it just after my 40th when in one of those "bollox - sh*t or bust" moods. Really chuffed with the end result - inked by Ben at Medway tattoo

Will it be my 1st & last? Not sure TBH, but I've a hankering for something else, or perhaps more work added to the one I've got... I guess time will tell. I don't really care what anyone thinks of my tat, or tattoo's in general. I like mine and don't regret getting it done one bit, which is all that matters to me ;)
