How's the Stako situation going?

I heard a rumour at Campaign this year that apparently 30 Stako's were found to be faulty. Can anyone on here shed any light on that?

I heard six...somehow more likley. 30 would have probally resulted in a ban

I heard a rumour there has been a further Stako failure. This time a complete rupture of the tank.

I got told at CC by a Marshall that they had had 30 stako's fail over the weekend, and someone, (didn't catch who,) was now (Sunday) dipping them all in a bucket of water to test them.

only caught the back end of this thread but did stako not make a statement that the air migrating from the skin was trapped air being squeezed out during and after the cylinder had been filled??? i thought this this was down to the liner being a of a flexible material rather than being rigid like alluminum.........

That is what they said... doesn't mean people aren't keen on them though

I could be completely wrong here but if 30 bottles failed then i believe the Millenium Gestapo would simply have banned them again. Point blank, end of

30 is simply too high a figure to be a coincidental failure and the Millennium would have been duty bound as far as health and safety is concerned to stop the usage of all stako bottles.
