i dry fire cuz i set targets up on mi mantle peice (old bday cards) an when i pop up to shoot when dryfiring itl knock the one im aiming at off the fire cheeper, cleener, less dangerous than firing paint/reballs in the house, and i know weather ive hit the target or not.

knocking a card down with air, from about 5' max, is hardly a good way to practice really... not to burst your bubble or anything

I personally hate the sound of dry firing, I think it only needs to be done for like 5 rounds to test your marker (if that!). I know its used when people tech their markers etc ... and thats cool in the comfort of their own homes. But snap shooting at home using dry firing also blowing down card with air ... aint worth the hassle. Save the air and use a training mode to gain speed with the trigger if you want to snap shoot set something up in your garden. TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBOURS, then go out and do some drills in respectable hours. Also make sure your neighbours aren't working nights if so DONT PRACTISE IN THE DAY!! let them get their zzz's or else they will be groachy.

Alternatively move the hell away from people!

The joys of having no neighbours for half a mile around ... no one can hear you scream ;)

On my recent spell of being banned i amused myself by playing with my marker. (practicing snap shooting behind the sofa) i was dry firing for maybe 10 minuets or so at about 1 in the afternoon, when i recived a nock on the door off my neighboor sayin she would "call the fcuking police if i diddent shut that flaming thing up" now im wondering is there anything the police could do about this? or is it just my neighbor being old an spoiling my fun?

Cheers Rob
There is not much that the police can do because you are not really braking any laws unless they can get you on one of these new fangled ASBO's, which after all you were being anti social if it was loud enough and long enough to make a neighbour come round.
Now i know from experience that if he got no joy with the police then it's on to the council and if they take up his complaint then you are in the $hit as they "can" make the police knick you. Your just gonna have to trust me when i say that the smallest things can get you in trouble and at the end of the day it just isn't worth it!
Besides....for what in god's name were you doing dry firing your feckin' marker for 10 minutes?
Tell you what? ....Make a video of it and stick it on youtube with the rest of the baddest, most rad, rippin', Ion video's?????
Doofas:rolleyes:

Ok maybe the kids a bit dim but at least he's drilling which is better than a lot of you. There are numerous posts (and articles) telling us to practise at home and the first time someone posts up about it you all tell him not to bother ..

Rob...either lower the Dwell so its minute and you just get a click as opposed to a bang or tell your neighbour to piss off (not really advised) as long as you are not making an outragous noise at 1 in the afternoon there is nothing the police or councill can do about it ,believe me, I had the neighbours from hell and actually moved house because of it..

Consideration is the best policy.

keep it up
