On my recent spell of being banned i amused myself by playing with my marker. (practicing snap shooting behind the sofa) i was dry firing for maybe 10 minuets or so at about 1 in the afternoon, when i recived a nock on the door off my neighboor sayin she would "call the fcuking police if i diddent shut that flaming thing up" now im wondering is there anything the police could do about this? or is it just my neighbor being old an spoiling my fun?

Cheers Rob

Next time stick a fluffy down the barrel and the barrel condom over it to hold it in place.

If you were making some serious noise within reasonable hours of the day, i doubt if the police can do ****e.
Giving at least some respect to your neighbour would save some hassle.

Hmmmm, let me think.....the possibilities are:-

a) Your neighbour is sooo delicate that they bother to come round and complain, and as you put it, 'spoil your fun', when in fact, your shooting indulgence isn't that intrusive at all or

b) You have an inflated opinion of your 'own fun' importance and your neighbor actually had a legitimate complaint.

I know what I reckon it is after reading the tone of your post and just in case you can't work out what I am suggesting...it's b)

as far as i'm aware there is jack all for during the day.
After 11pm at night is where noise pollution kicks in, hence why taxi's can't beep after 11.
no, there is a certain db level, and time sustained that will constitute noise pollution or anti-social behavior at any time of the day.

they will probably just issue you with a formal warning or slapped wrists at the most, but since this is easily avoided by just blocking/muffling the barrel, why risk it?!

sorry if the tone of my post sounds like that i get on with all my neighbors and they have never had a problem with it aslong as its not to late on etc..
but my new neighbor (the one that complained) has only been there a couple off weeks and has been having a go at quite a few people who live in the houses near me.
