I dont rate the Krylon.

Used some of it on my Dye Invisions, it stuck to the grills of it just fine, but on the flexy bits, it cracked and peeled before i even got my goggles back together.

lots of thin layers, maybe 10-15 thin layers, then a good 5 thin layers of clear is best.

if you put 3 thick layers on, its gonna crack with out doubt

thats what i was getting at - how many layers did he put on and how long inbetween each one etc etc etc

I used some plasti-kote white primer as a base layer, done about 6 or so layers of that, real thin ones too. This said 45 mins between each layer, so I left it at least an hour between each one anyway.
Over the top of that i done about 5 layers of Krylon, again thinly
This was about 2 and a half hours between each layer
Over that I think i done 3-4 layers of Plasti-kote, a little bit thicker.
About 4 hours after each layer.
