Yeah, when I looked earlier the only ammendments for 2007 were 3 pages of tie breaker ammendments. :SNow I´m confused - where have you seen this 2007 rulebook, let alone ad addition to it?

The chest protector thing was announced earlier in the year in one of the Millenniums mail shots but has never found its way in to the rule book ammendments. It may be in the news archive somewhere or if someone has the millennium's press releases in their in-box, maybe they can track it down.
I definately saw it though.
you can get far better quality body padding from kooga or canterbury at less money,same thickness,more comfortable made out of better breathable material but I guess illegal cos it does not have PROTO PAINTBALL PROTECTION on the packet.

Come to think of it, weren't the Dye Balance vests banned a few years back? They were only thin and skin tight weren't they? So why the ban?

I'm not sure they were banned, im sure you could legally wear that as your under layer. The rule is that you're allowed 1 layer plus your playing jersey, I cant see why the balance top would have been banned if it was being worn as that. If people were trying to wear it as an extra layer, then that would have caused a problem? I'm not sure.
Ulrich mentioned that one reason stickers on hoppers are now limited is because one team one year was making extra thick stickers with one eye on paint bouncing.

My point is, rules will be broken. You will see people wearing two proto vests soon. I havent been checked for layers in the MS yet this year.
Anyone remember neoprene hopper covers? And them being banned cause people were putting two or three of them on one hopper

So a Mink coat under your jersey is allowed? As long as you dont have a string vest underneath it
