Ion vs Invert Mini?

Hi , my m8 wants to get an invert mini, but i have a ion. He is stuck on which one to get . I guess the good points about the ion are the amount of upgrades you can get for it. Anyone know anything good or bad about the invert?

Invert mini's are lighter and smaller than any gun i know and will keep up with the top of the range markers. Then again so will and ion if its fully upgraded.

But the thing you've got too think is,. Do you want to spend £300+ on a ion upgrading it ( like i did ) or just pay the £300 for a mini.

Pay £250 and get a PMR.

Light weight, Easy to use. Fully proven bolt desgin. Easy to tech, and you get great service from DYE/PROTO.

You know it makes sence

if you get a mini make sure its got the latest board version and either has a new poppet or the poppet mod done.

definately consider a pmr.

just get a ul trigger and it will still be cheaper than the mini, its not much heavier, really easy to maintain. or use the money left over for a new trigger and an on/off, an on/off is something the mini has not got an option for and is considered a down side.

if your on a budget get the pmr - you dont have to upgrade immediately, then you have saved £50 more than you would have done buying the mini, spent more than you would have done buying the ion but have infinately got a better marker, the build quality, the stock board has semi, psp, millenuim and nxl full auto.

just get a pmr or mini. not an ion

i would also say PMR instead of mini, your mate should give your ION a good go and see if he likes it, if he doesnt want to upgrade it and just play paintball then get a PMR, nothing needed to it really so its a good started gun.
