Well after over two and a half years of not getting one i got one today :(

The message comes up when i try to boot after the windows logo and download bar. I believe it's a STOP error, it says :

SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

STOP: 0x0000006F (0xC0000102, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

If it helps i downloaded a psx emulator last night and some plugins. It may be the cause, but i can't get onto my desktop even in safe mode and last good configurations to uninstall it :(

If anyone can point me in the right direction of either solving the problem or any tips i could try then pm or post up.

Thanks in advance

sorry mate but sounds like you got a virus or something.
there are a couple of things you can do
if you have the windows disk (the exact one) that you used to install XP then put that in, follow all the instructions to install windows, but at the final part where it says do you want to install XP it offers you the choice of recovering previous installations or replacing lost windows files, something along those lines, chose that, it should then just install the parts you need and keep all your data intact.

alternatively, put that error code in to Google, I'm sure someone will know the solution

First thing I would try to resolve things is:
Hit f8 after the bios screen and before the windows loading+scrolling bar screen.
Select the last known good configuration option.

If that doesn't work, you will need to do a repair using the windows cd supplied with your computer.

Explaining stuff over the internet/phone is always difficult.
At least I am not charging for my advice or nicking computer parts like the guy on house of horrors lol.
