Not going to harp on about this one as was involved in a bit of bad behavior at a millenium event with my squad a couple of years ago.

That said I have known Jason ( Myth ) for years and must say that this does not ring true.

Jason is still very young but has been in and around big teams for the past four years so is well aware of the repercusions an incident like this would cause himself, his team and the sport.

The reported incidents need to be sorted out asap between those responsible and those it affected.

But worse is to come, a freaking drive by shooting on a new BMW car, and that was reported to the police and they have been told it was a vehicle with a BRITISH registration that did it, they have been told who the suspects are and are investigating.
I tell you one thing (because I know who the suspects are) if it is proved they will be banned from paintball for life, stupid ****s:mad:

The drive by shooting is alleged to have been done by a black vehicle with British number plates and that is the only one with links to anyone from the UK.

on our way back to Centre Parks from Nurburgring, a black SLK Merc went past us covered with paint splats all over his windscreen, bonnet and bumper, which must have just happened as we went along the bendy sections, we see them stop and turn around, we had pulled into the Total garage to gas up, they pulled in shortly after us, we went to see what had happened to them and the guy said that a car had drove past and threw the paint at them, he and his misses were'nt happy at all, so we cleaned up the paint off there car for them, also apologizing for the stupidity of others.

There was a black colored car in the distance in front of us full of 'ballers before the Merc went past us, but that car did not have UK number plates.

Thats a very kind gesture of you lads well done. Hopefully that cheered the persons involved up.

To be honest its a shame it happens as it happens small scale and large scale paintball events.

Take the masters on saturday multiple compliants about the noise going on till 2am in the morning.

Might be something to do with booze and drugs? Ban them then there would be barely any paintballers (as a collective). Dont ban them then we dont do as many other sports and athletical associations have done. Its a catch 22.

But also to put something out there. Footballers act like d*ckheads all the time most of them are famous for it, maybe some paintballers like the idea of being rock and roll because of the sport they play? It depends on how you look at it do you want either a) a bunch of well mannered and self respecting paintballers or b) a mix of both (with just a few bad attitude ballers)? As many people like the bad guys ala Rooney etc ...

But to be fair actions should be looked at from a legality point of view. Killing Ducks and Vandalising property is very bad and against the law, link that with paintball it looks shocking for the sport.

Though Paintball as a sport is in its infancy everything counts towards our main goal which is ... total recognition as a sport

This means any bad action can have a lasting effect; in a snowball effect.

In the words of Al Murray, "Shame on you!" who ever did this.

I too saw the shot up signs and house. :(

It's a shame that some people still can't behave, I know everyone likes to play and have fun, but if you're GONNA do it, at least do it between yourselves and do it responsibly.

Throwing paintballs at other people's cars, shooting signs, killing ducks?

What have we come to? :(

To all of the people that were involved in these accidents, thanks alot for making life harder for everyone that plays paintball in Germany, as if it wasn't hard enough already.

Deano,
Thats was a great gesture by yourselves and even better news about the Number Plate but the person who told me about the incident is adamant the vehicle that did it had UK plates.

Is it so hard to think twice before doing anything?

This episode makes me think of campaign last year where someone had thrown or shot at a mosque next to the hotel we stayed at in croyden.

Whatever the details, saying it wasn't a British team doesn't make it OK (although if they were "throwing" paint and not shooting it then at least it's not a firearms offence.) Regardless of who did it, incidents like this affect us all in the end.

But hopefully the Stealers guys' gesture will somewhat alleviate the car owner's first impression about paintballers.

maybe 2 separate incidents then, but i know it was definantly a Merc SLK convertible one that came into the Total garage whilst we was there filling up, as for the plates of the car infront of us, i'm 100% certain that it was not UK, as when we left Nuringburg we pulled over to let the car pass so we could wait for our team mates to catch us up.
