I've got an Athlon 64 3600, 2 gig of ram, and a 512MB Nvidia card.

Bought S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because it looked awesome, turns it's so buggy it's virtually unplayable so took it back.

Would have agreed with you a couple of years ago, but at the moment, all the good releases are console only and the pc just isnt keeping up. Unfortunately :(

Looking forward to Army of Two on the 360 as well as Battlefield: Bad Company
Complete bullsh!t, the PC gaming industry is booming more than ever now. No online gaming can compare to that on a PC, including no online games can compare to PC, think about it, CSS, BF2, BF2142 etc..We have things like teamspeak and xfire, and wait for it omg websites! We basically have xbox live for free (unless u play WOW) and even the online games that are on the console and PC are better on the pc, simply because, you cannot beat the mouse, its the best controller out there.period.

Its the 360. No doubt.

Here's why - Cost, Games, Live experiance.
Cost - cheaper - even with Live subscription, GoW + Halo piss on anything on PS3, Live experiance.

Sure, PS3 has the Blue ray innit, but what if it looses the war? The 360 does NOT have a built in player purely for this reason - including the Elite version. sure you can choose to add on HD DVD (at a bargain price) - but MS retain the option for the future to build Blu Ray. If however Blue Ray fails.......

Peripheral add ons? well both have 'em. the 6 way axis for the 360 will be comin I'm sure - but theres nowt to seperate them here IMO.

you will also see a price drop in the UK for 360 before the end of this year. Trust me :D

With Shadowrun due to launch soon, you will also have the first 360 Vs PC online matches - yes folks - it will be cross format.

Wii is for Kids/ partay console - in single player stuff, the novelty wears off quickly. it's a 'social' console.

Simply Put the 360 is a the media hub for your home - with MS market share in building Operating systems - well it speaks for itself in terms of what it will be able to do in the future.......?

Of those you just listed, only BF2142 is even remotely new.

If you read what I said, I said that there were no decent looking releases coming up for the PC. Certainly not from what I've seen, nothing that really makes me thing 'wow, I cant wait to play that.'

BF2 is on the 360, only it's called Modern Combat and has additional features including a single player campaign and BF: Bad Company is coming out on the 360 soon.

Xbox live has teamspeak built into pretty much every single game and although it's not free Xbox Live works fantastically well.

I used to love playing games with mouse and keyboard combo and yes, it is still better for a FPS, but I prefer the pad for a lot of games. Can't imagine playing Gears of War, GRAW2 or Rainbow6 Vegas with a mouse though.. Would just feel weird.

And you do know that games can still have websites if they're on the 360 yeah?

Ok try these then: Crysis, Enemy Territories: Quake Wars, Team Fortress 2, Spore, Left 4 Dead, Portal, Unreal Tournament 3, Frontlines Fuel of War.

Google them and see how amazing those are going to be

I own a PS3 and a 360, so i can make decent comparative judgements.... so here goes
The 360 has better live. Much better. So much so that I don't mind paying £40 for a years subscription. You can see what your friends are doin, downlad backgrounds, all sorts of cool stuff. On PS3 you can go live for free, but that's pretty much it.
Th graphics on the PS are immense, but the games I have played haven't made best use of them yet, for example, Resistance fall of man has stunning graphis, but is missing the rag doll engine, so you can't kick dead bodies around, a la GOW. Little touches seem missing. Anyway, I'm sure that they'll improve on that.
Blu ray... well, unless you have a HD tv (which I do) any HD dvd player is pointless. Still, will you be upgrading your dvd catalogue to HD? I doubt it. Microsoft have the option of building a bluray drive in the future if demand takes off, whereas PS3 are stuck with bluray.
Sixaxis control.... Give me a rumble pad anyday. The PS3 pad is just a PS2 pad that you have to
