Im for the PS3 let me explain why:

PS3:

Online capablitlies- Exactly the same as live (even games journalists say this) and its free, it also boasts free downloadable movie trailers in HD, and you can use it as a spare internet browser if anyone is on your PC! And when i say exactly like live it is, friends list, join friends games, message them, collect stats and rewards etc.. And its all free, shove that up your ass Microsoft. Granted PS2 wasnt to great online, but PS3 is as good as or even better than live now.

Gaming- There is a small difference between gfx quality with PS3 leading the difference. But developers are starting to use the PS3 to its potential and make great games. Whoever said PS3 has no good exclusives, they are talking utter BS. Ever heard of the Metal Gear Solid series? They are amazing games, Amazing gameplay and story, its like playing a movie, just astonishing. And MGS4 not only has the best gfx seen in a game yet, its a exclusive.

PS3 also has the most connectivity, plug in USB sticks, memory cards from digi cam, psp, bluetooth and more. And it supports 1080p HD.

And you forget, sony and there Playstations have been leading the console war for ever, with the PS, PS2 and now the PS3 will win.

Now thats what i call a console baby!

I would of considered an XBox 360 Elite, but I think they boo-boo'd up by not including HD-DVD hardware as standard.

Does the PS3 do upscaling of DVDs? You would of thought so because of its builtin HDMI but I've read conflicting reports on t'internet.

ps3, no doubt about it. The graphics blow away both the 360 and the wii. ps3 has gran turismo HD.Gran Turismo=best racing game ever made. ps3 will also be getting gears of war. ps3 has Resistance:fall of man. Which is better than halo/gears of war for both online play and campaign. ps3 looks nicer.

The ps3 just seems a bit owned, it's trying to hard when it's crap, well not crap but a bit overpriced for it. Anyway with the new xbox 360 elite.

Any of you seen the spring update for 360, check xbox.com forums. Seems to have loads of stuff. Like msn

A console is ALL about the games, there are plenty of great games out now ... Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1&2 (the latter isnt out on ps3 yet), Gears of War, Dead Rising, PGR 3, Crackdown.

Great games on the way ... Mass Effect, Halo 3, Fable 2, Forza 2, Bioshock and thats just a few of the exclusives.

And if you really really really want a ps3, wait a year or 2 for it to come down in price and have a selection of games worth spending the wedge on ... the great thing is, this isnt sega, both companies are not going to back down, so everyones a winner!

Cup n' Ball game all the way...

Nothing can jump out of a screen and hit you in the face, but the ball from Cup n' Ball can take out an eye (or both) with ease if you get too carried away. That's intense gaming...there's no contest really.

oh? i was under the impression the PS3 bioshock got canned for some random reason and Seeing as Mass Effect is being published by Microsoft Game Stuidos i cant see it appearing on the PS3
