Before you tighten them both up push the grip frame towards the front reg, this will close up the gap and give you less 'wobble' :)

Thanks for the tips guys. I went with lump and Fly's suggestions of PTFE-taping the screw and ensuring the frame is pushed up against the Hyper2. At first it seems secure, but then after a little use it's back to its wobbling ways :rolleyes:

Is this likely to be a problem with the actual screws, the frame or the body? Open to any other ideas, although in this situation I'd like to steer clear of loctite.

The actual thread of the front frame screw looks in good nick. The head has various nicks and dents, but of course that won't cause the rattling.

What does seem a little disconcerting is that as I'm tightening the allen key in the hole (go on lump, make another innuendo out of that ;)) it comes to a reasonably abrupt stop, instead of becoming progressively resistant.
