Tim, do you know anything about air tanks? You speak about everything like an expert when you are basically a newb. You go round any tournament and you will find loads of tanks that do leak.
A small air leak is not going to blow up but granted Will should have it looked at if he is that worried and I have offered a solution. I sold it to Will months ago and he was happy with it and it hasnt blown up yet. Sounds like something very minor so stop scare mongering when you dont knw what you are talking about. You are making it worse than it is and also making it sound like I have sold something dangerous.

Do your car tyres lose pressure when you drive??? Sorry you are not old enough to know, but tyres are made to keep you safe!
Do people have heart attacks when your heart keeps you alive???

As long as the reg isn't loctited on, remove all the air and unscrew the reg. Clean both mating faces of the bottle and reg, and the chamfer in the bottle neck. Replace the o-ring if you can find one, if not clean it and it should be ok, they are pretty robust.
If the reg is loctited on, you'll need some hot water and a mate who's got strong hands, works every time for me. Then repeat the last bit.

Once you've refitted the reg air up in stages checking the reg/bottle for leaks. A clear measuring jug partly full of water is very good for this.
