If you imagine that your opponents have viciously murdered your family...you may have some problems when you have a family of your own...I don't think many normal people could visualise the violent murder of their wife and kids for the purpose of playing a game...or for any other purpose...I would seriously worry about my mental health and the safety of my family, if I ever imagined their untimely and gruesome death...sorry.:confused:

On Nexus I used to worry if Ledz didn't throw up as I would think he wasn't up for the game enough. Between Ledz throwing up over our arms and hands and Robbo squeezing the life out of our hands, it used to do a pretty good job in wanting to actually kill the other team.

I've met a couple of peeps who throw up or get very close to it pre match ,I get a similar thing....the queasy fight or flight syndrome... and theres nothing better than the personal victory of beating that in all forms of competition in life never mind just paintball....

OK...so yeah being sick, no problem...but if the guy was being sick before every game...that is a problem (we have established that this was a one off).:D

Huddle...yeah..cool, like someone said, better when the Yanks do it.

Pebble...I am aware that you are well respected for your playing ability and much kudos to you for it. But...I very much hope that is down to actual ability and not your pre-game mind set.:cool:

I am going to assume that you are young, without a Family of your own.

Being as I am the reverse of that...it is simply impossible for me to WANT to conjure up an image of my Wife, whom I love and my children whom strangely, I also love...MY FLESH AND BLOOD...being horribly MURDERED...

If I found that I could be comfortable with that image for any purpose, I would be as worried, as if I ever had the urge to F*CK my own children...and would put myself as far from them as possible.

With the greatest of respect to you and with no prejudice, as a "webmate", what you said, might be very easy for you to say...possibly a bit of Bravado...but the very thought of it, to anyone with their own Family (or not), I would think would be unbearable...it is not something that should be encouraged in order to make for an effective breakout...in my opinion.:confused:

If that really works for you...cool...some people don't get on with their folks and siblings maybe that would be easier...but as I said, expect to have some difficulty when one day in the start gate, you cant quite seem to concentrate on imagining your first born son being sliced up.

Call me crazy...call me uncommitted...

Now...somebody tell me I am wrong.
