Do MEN diet?

All joking aside;) I find the best weight loss program by far is the Dan Randon Method.

Simply get Dan to take your picture every month when you are too busy playing to suck the bits in, and before you know it you'll be sitting wrapped in cling film in the shed:eek:

And while we're on the subject, the human digestive system is able to handle a fully liquid diet, but not designed that way. Meat for the win! And some veg too, obv.

I always drink lots of water
Drink lots of tea

I do regular exercise

Work replaces the gym, 20kg bags of cement, pushing/pulling cages full of bags of cement etc, etc all that type of crap

Throughout the day, if you added everything up what I ate... it'd be a ****load

I eat small amounts at a time - not all unhealthy, for breakfast I usually have curry and chips (from the Van outside of work lol, usually the first week of the month) or toast (most of the time). I'd say the only set meal I have are 'Sunday Dinner' type meals (and thats when mah parents make them ;) )

I've tried dieting but I love my carbs too much... and I like the odd few take-aways a month and I like eating "junk" food

Summary of the thread so far

The posts on this thread show that there are 3 main 'divisions' when it comes to weight watching amongst male ballers

1. I have no problem with my weight because i'm under 25 and my metabolism is rampant (haha, i thought so too... wait till you hit 40)

2. I'm over 25, recognise i am/have been overweight and doing something about it (props)

3. Olly Bell and Tom Allen :D

I quit smoking 3 1/2 year ago at 26. Went from 13 1/2st which I had been pretty much all my 20s up to 17.5st in 2 1/2 year. Decided with getting married in September last year to do something about it. Jan 2006 I started dieting (slimfast) which to be fair I think just made me more aware of what I was eating and regulated my snacking and got down to 14.7 by September, so just under 3 stone lost in 9 month.

Sadly put back on about a half a stone but can be honest and say it is because I am snacking on crap again!! :)

Hoping once the weather gets nicer outside I can get out for a bit of excersise!! :)

yes its a bit of a no brainer really, to loose weight you put your body in to a calorific deficit simple either by eating less or exercising more while eating "clean" foods.

i am over weight, why? because i eat too much rubbish........ does loosing weight make you play better YES, last november i was 17stone 10 pounds im now sitting around 16stone, can i run faster off the break.... yes, can a make my self a smaller target behind stuff....yes, do my goggles fog up as much because im wheezing for air and sweeting like a fat bird.... no.

As far away from you as possible
Stuff loosing weight, I want to gain weight. Managed a stone this year :)
Now I've broken my arm i'm getting some fat though:mad:

My tip is keep a healthy diet, even if you are gaining weight. Just make sure you weight lift and do enough cardio to keep it at bay.
Most people wouldn't mind some more muscle, you should be slightly exceeding your RDA of calories during a muscle building program anyway.

They are in the" get to the gym" category, as you said if they can't be arsed then there is nothing anyone can do for them.

Peace.
