Hallo, I have some Dye i3s and I have looked in the manual on how to remove the lense strap. I can't work out how the hell to do it, can anyone explain it better than the manual ?

Thanks

ive also got i3s and i asked about removing lenses a while back. to scared to actually attempt it tho. i think when the lense needs changing im gonna chuck the mask and buy new and save my fingers :)

from wat i can see brute force does seem to be it. either that or cut it out ?

I dont think you really need to take off the lenses if you wanted to clean them just put the whole ask into water or use a wet cloth.

If you want them for a differnt reason..well i dont know as i dont want to :D

A while I had to change my lens. Right there 3 bits u need to do.

1. On the side you see those black plastic clips that keep the strap attached to your mask?? Well pull them out (on either side of the mask)

2. Once thats done you need to pull the plastic bit that holds the lens from the rest of the mask (not sure how i can explain this more ummm)

3. Then look to the instruction book to remove the lens form its casing thing.

But you need to use brute force !!!

I have I3s & have changed lenses a few times. Your best bet is bravery & brute force, it feels like it's gonna break but mine has been fine, it will probably get easier after about 50 changes.

I have just also just got a PROTO Axis, looks and feels very similar (I actually think it's more comfortable) & SOOOOOOOO much easier to break down in pieces.
