Sorry Tom im not feeling you on this, ive owned everything on your list except an ion and a Tippy.

Currently rebought a timmy and i am by far not a sci-fi nerd, I owned one of the first 3rd gen shockers and again im not a scene kid, and to finish ive owned 2 05 egos before my retirement and there is no way in hell in a chav.... Death metal tattoos to prove

Timmies = 'american chopper fans'
Egos = 'the popular one who knows it'
Angels = meh bored...
shockers = happy go lucky (and change an o-ring every now and then)
ions = 'more for less' (more = plastic and internals like a wookiees hairbrush)
tippmanns = someone who plays in antartica, under the sea or space.

Theres room for:

I have no preference. I don't discriminate. I shoot whatever gat appears when I rummage around in my bag of goodies on the day, whether it be a PT Extreme to an Ego 7 to a Spyder Classic, or possibly even a Mini . I <3 all paint chucking devices. I think that means I'm either a whore (which is unlikely due to the fact that I can't afford to stockpile many gats) or just an indecisive individualist.

I don't know why you all think so little of Ions I love my Ion I have had 2k2/05 Timmys a 05 Ego and a Bushmaster. And with a nice trigger the Ion is great they are very easy to set up well with a Virtue board. And my Ion is as fast as most Egos.

Speed isnt everything though.

That is very true mate and if all markers are caped at 15bps what does it matter I can sort most things with a Ion out in 5 mins. I don't think much of stock Ion's but with some upgrades they can be great. And I get a bit of fun out of doing them up.
