Hello!
have been into paintball a while and have become well Acquainted to woodsball.
so after a good couple of years i'm finally deciding to go and buy me own Marker.
so ive had offers for all sorts.. Eclypses, DM's and PM's But the price range is just out (the cheapest is going for £150)
so im asking for suggestions for what would be a good beginner marker will be to purchase for a part-time paintballer.
Price range mm about £70 - (at the most)£100.
Any help will be much appreciated
Cheers
Sugz.

Thanks for those opinions.. although ive heard mixed comments on the Ion and the Tippman.. however i think its down to what i think.. having used briefly both looked impressive.. can i expect to fine lots of 'addons' such as barrels, triggers etc?

If your playing in the woods, IMO your best getting your own Tippy. You cant really good mad on normal rec players in the wood cus its unfair so you dont need a fast gun and your not gonna get more robust than a tippy :D then nvest yourself in somethng like a flatline and you will be well sorted for the woods!

I thought you would be more interested in speedball? For you, out of an Ion or a Tippmann I'd definately go with an Ion. Being electric, it gives you the flexibility of switching between woodsball and speedball (if I drag you along to a training or tourney ;)).

As you saw when I had one, Ion's are extremely upgradeable so from a stock Ion you'd be looking at getting a decent ASA (with on/off and purge), better trigger and also a clamping feedneck. Anything on top of that is personal preference.

EDIT: Also I can show you how to strip it down/tech it/lube it properly ;)

Then you'll need air and a hopper...What's your price range for these? For £60 you could get a decent Halo (or even a Reloader) or on a tighter budget a decent Egg (my first loader) could be picked up for under £30.

An air tank would be more expensive - Probably £70+ for a 0.8l/5000psi fibre tank. Don't bother getting a steely - You'll only want to upgrade to a fibre after a week ;)

Cheers Will!..
remember.. i wont be using it all year round like you, will use it whenever possible during Woodsball and Supair if given the chance.. but at the mo.. its Cost Vs Value for money.. was thinking in going for a package deal found on the countless number of Online sites, but when i find one, ill post it and lest you guys post your views.
