chopping is when the ball is falling into the breach and you fire as it is half in the breach and half in the feedneck so the bolt chops it as it moves forward, but eyes are there to prevent that as they dont let the gun fire until the ball is sat in the breach :)

Tipmans go full auto (though wont actually fire paint that quick) when they are low on air, are freezing up, or when the trigger sear gets worn out.

Tends to be all three after a while on site:D

They also suffer from "self opening breech"...whereby, the punter gets told NOT to touch the little catch under the hopper and then later on, said punter is handing you his hopper and gun...it fell off...yeah mate...ok...an I suppose these stones and bits of twig in here, climbed in by themselves and not when you were picking up paint off the floor?

lol thats a strange illness most site tippmanns seem to do, they make crazy noices like a machine gun which drive punters wild with fear, and then they continue to make said noise even when you let go of the trigger.....

although with chopping, if its a rental site then the paint is probably of a naff quality, and is likely to break inside the barrel instead of the breech. if you continue firing with all the gunk in your barrel it tends to muff up the rest of the paint aswell........

is that what you mean? otherwise ive never actually seen a 98 custom firing randomly....:confused:

Hi i'm new to paintballing (well been about 3/4 times) but i really enjoyed it, however i dont know if i'm any good because i hardly got hit even though i was in the middle of the fights :S(might be because i'm skinny and can hide behind almost anything hehe)
but anyway i was wondering if there was anywhere that offers training or advice or something along those lines to help me get better.

i was thinking of getting:
* Icon Z Marker
* Halo LCD Frontman Hopper
* 20-oz CO2 Tank
* V-Force Shield Pro Goggles
as my first set up.

Any help would be great thanks
Also is there anywhere near cambridge where i can take my own paintballs and shoot off a few roundswithout paying £40 a time? thanks

yes its just typical 98 customs doing their thing....:rolleyes:

chopping, barrel breaks, launching about 3 paintballs with one pull of the tigger, going into "machinegun mode", etc etc....
