Robbo,
I do look forward to meeting you. So do come to HB. I promise the body guards will treat you with utmost respect and handle your presence in a gentle and comfortable way. As far as being no one, yes I beleive am no one special, it is always better to be humble and let the people decide whether your fame is real or not. Hope to see you soon.
Cheers there Mate
JPB
One last question for you. I have asked this before to your fellow countrymen and no one has ever given the answer. Why do you call an ass an ass but spell it arse. It is these types of questions that confuse me.

Well, we don't actually call an ass an ass, well not as you mean it anyway.
We do in fact call an ass an ass when we are referring to a donkey type but the rear end we refer to as an arse.
I'm afraid you Yanks are to blame for any confusion here because with soo many of us now becoming infused with your use of the language, gradually, Americanisms such as ass, when referring to one's rear end have crept into everyday usage alongside words such as arse.
And there you have it.
As for meeting your bodyguards?
I'll look forward to it :)

Nick : it's an English play on words mate and quite deliberate, I'm just surprised Lane was aware of it coming from his hillbilly background
Damn, stepped right into the punch then - completely unawares :D

Struck me as odd coming from Lane anyway - but thought it might be a typo or because he was preoccupied :D

So please, for future reference, someone enlighten me, because I still don't get it :)

Nick

EDIT ADDED: Instead of actually resenting the remark the "target" of the joke (or not-so-much) treats it good-naturedly and acknowledges there is some truth to the comment by turning the wording around and saying 'resembles' instead. Hope that helps at least a bit. TFP

Aight, this is getting boring. (Yes, that most definitely includes Robo and JPB's little seduction dance so ..)

How 'bout we play a game of predicting the outcome? Keeping in mind of course that most of us have no clue just what PP (Pacific Paintball;) ) intends to do beyond the boilerplate blather in the PR. Personally I'd pay $5 for a video of Chuck actually reciting his quote but anyway--

I'll get y'all started.

* Turnover of responsible staff less than 20% during the first season of the new management.

* NPPL announces outreach plan to put paintball front and center to tens of thousands of ordinary folks. (via ad placements on taxi cabs.)

* Makes webcam footage available for free after the events.

* First public statement affirms 7-man paintball is the wave of the future and way more media friendly than Xball.

* Switch to a ramping mode and NXL-style enforcement.

* Raise ID / registration fees based on added value that may or may not be competitive with the APPA system.

OK, those were easy. Let's hear what you got. Be cynical, Be optimistic. Go crazy. Just figure out where the new PP will lead 7-man paintball and tell us all now so we can crown you the new Nostradamus. (extra points for archaic French quatrains)

My prediction is that the PSP try to take advantage of the current situation and start making the Pure crew some offeres to come in and set up their events better.....
Well, not so much of a prediction really.

I predict that Dynasty Drop Opie from their roster for no good reason, and he starts playing for someone else in the NPPL Pro division this year. Another Dynasty 'owner' no longer considered as part of the 'in crowd'...

In fact, how many of the 9 owners still play on that team?
