You're right that there isn't currently a mile long line to get involved with paintball.
Where I disagree with you is that that means there wasn't any value in the purchase. With more resources available, that line can be created. And the purchase provides those resources.
So I'm not saying things MAY change. I'm saying they WILL change.
Hmmmmmm, I think we are in agreement here because I think I have said much the same thing, I'm just suggesting something else other than the purchase of the league itself must be planned.
And you basically have agreed with me as you suggest that 'with more resources available', lines can be created.
It just remains to be seen, what lines....
The big question that seems to surface in my head is, are these people coming into paintball in terms of creating new product lines and thus using the league as a convenient and necessary vehicle or ... are they purchasing the league because they wish to develop the media side of things ?
Hmmm, my guess would be the latter but it then begs the question, what do they know that we don't because of late, the TV option has had some very real problems and unless this company has its own access points to the media, it's gonna be quite a struggle to develop the traditional NPPL product with the traditional contacts in the media.
Still, it's all quite exciting and I am sure it will be good for the sport of paintball.
