In DC all paintball is illegal, as it's considered a firearm.
Really?? I lived in DC for 5 years with all my paintball kit. I didn't know it was illegal. Am going back shortly but will prob live in Arlington, VA this time so no worries. Everythings legal in VA :) I lived in Chevy Chase (on the DC side). Whereabouts are you?

I've lived in London for 4+ years without a car. You get used to hauling your stuff around on mass transit. Everyone does it so don't worry...unless you're hauling a big Eclipse bag during rush hour. Then you get some angry looks.

Well it's not illegal to the point where they raid your house if you're suspected of having it, but I would not be suprised if someone was shot while holding one. Police having no guns in the UK is a very attractive thing. I think the law states that it's illegal to discharge it on public property, which basically means anywhere. I'm in Glover Park, under Tenleytown and above Georgetown.

How crowded is the tube during morning hours?

yeah i have to say that ur best bet is making the trip to D'7s as there are usually teams looking for players there thats how i got on a few teams last year notorious kids, distortion, swarm, and now basic, one thing to keep in mind is the most of the european teams play very tight and move on you quickly, but i seem to be holding my own with them, as im back playing after an 8 year gap fom Cananda so with a little adustment in playing style you should do fine:D
Ya, I have noticed varying styles within regions. It'll be interesting to see how I mesh.

Hi Jack
If you fancy trying a 12 hour Reball session with us, drop me a pm when you land. We are based within the m25 and have a few players from west London that find it easy to travel to training by train or car. Hope you enjoy your stay in U.K. mate.
But of course! A 12 hour reball session sounds incredible, and I would definitely be excited to play. I'll give you a call when I get settled in.

Get on the central line into Theydon Bois station and come play at mayhem. There is a minibus service too and from the station :)
I'll be playing just about anywhere that there's a bus line or paved road.

-In England, are pods called Pots?

Not too far from my old place. I did a course at AU my first summer in DC and stayed in the dorms on Nebraska.

If you are going in to Central London, Very.
