No worries man. Stakos rock too  When you head back to the States you'll be pissed that you have to do use a DOT tank, lol.

Average age can vary from about 13/14 up to late 40's or even higher I'd guess. It really does vary on the team, you get pros training there in their prime (and some probably a little past it :p ) as well as rookie teams. It's a great environment.

Lots of teams are sponsored over here, if your in it for an entire season or more then I'm sure you can probably find a team with a few discount deals worked out if nothing more. It all helps to ease the cost burden.

Also, if you get bored of your current equipment when you come over, we have a great classifieds forum on this site which is very active, so maybe you can test out a few of the Brit designed mowing machines we've got over here ;)

It's nearly 1am this side of the pond, so I'm gonna crash man. But there's loads of top people on this forum who will be more than willing to help you out with any questions you've got. Hopefully you'll have a blast pballing in the UK, so don't worry man. Peace out.
Thanks alot man, I'm actually really looking forward to it. I'll be on here more and more, so I should get to know ya'll a bit better and get even more stuff sorted out. Thanks for being so helpful though.

Also, are there any rules surrounding in Europe regarding paintball equipment and the transportation of paintball equipment that aren't in the US? I'm sure the university would have it's own laws about the possession of equipment, but does England have their own laws about them?
Just saw this, you can pack everything in your check in baggage when you fly over. The only thing you should do is make sure that the bottle is removed from your reg and empty, then you shouldn't get any hassle from the airline. I don't even bother saying anything anymore when I check in as they barely ever care. If your picking up a new bottle or preset then you don't even have to worry about it.

I wouldn't worry about the Uni either. I wouldn't bother mentioning anything to them, as long as your not taking it out in public in Central London to shoot tourists you'll be fine. There are quite a few Unis with clubs now, have a peek for the threads on it. As for UK law, there's nothing to worry about, it's all good. You don't need a license or anything.

Shibby, I didn't plan on mentioning anything to the school, I was just hoping there wasn't some rule completely outlawing it. Richmond supposedly sponsors a student tournament at a field every month or so, but from what it sounds like it's just a small recball tournament, which would still be fun I guess.

Ya, I might keep the regulator and just purchase a stako bottle, cut costs a bit. I'm just puzzled as how to get this monster bag through checkage lol. It's not nearly as big as an eclipse bag, but I'm a little worried if they managed to lose it, I'd be quite screwed. I'm glad there aren't any weird English laws. In DC all paintball is illegal, as it's considered a firearm.

Is there any inter-Uni play?

I pack my arc kit bag full of shizzle everytime I fly, which is bigger than a standard Eclipse one when packed I think. I believe 70kg is the limit with some airlines if you just have 1 check in bag which is pretty damn heavy, lol. I've not had a problem yet....fingers crossed.

There is inter uni play, there's a lot of **** to do with making sure the team is a legal uni team etc. Have a search and you'll find tons of info.

lol ok, I'm really looking forward to all of this. It seems like UK and Euro ballers in general are alot more chill than in the US.

Hi Jack
If you fancy trying a 12 hour Reball session with us, drop me a pm when you land. We are based within the m25 and have a few players from west London that find it easy to travel to training by train or car. Hope you enjoy your stay in U.K. mate.

yeah i have to say that ur best bet is making the trip to D'7s as there are usually teams looking for players there thats how i got on a few teams last year notorious kids, distortion, swarm, and now basic, one thing to keep in mind is the most of the european teams play very tight and move on you quickly, but i seem to be holding my own with them, as im back playing after an 8 year gap fom Cananda so with a little adustment in playing style you should do fine:D
