following on from my posting preset thread

i posted it special, and apparently it says delivered on the website - but get this - charlie11 hasnt received the item...

now - first up - anyone had this happen to them?
what was the resolution? had it been left with a neighbour?
and secondly - seeing as its not in his possesion by 1pm as stated can I get my extortionate postage fee back?

advice welcomed.
annoyed here.
i bet if i sent it standard post it would have got there fine

If no ones there they usual stick a card through the door and take it to the local sorting office and you have to pick it up from there with a valid form of ID and sign for it then.

Though saying that i have had a postie sign for it himself and stick it through the door!

I maybe wrong but cant you pull up who has signed for it on line after a day or so?

Hope all gets sorted

ian, sorta similar thing happened to me... there is a thread in the plat section about it

basically, i sent out a number of packages, they all got returned to me, and apparently never existed. basically, i had to prove i sent them, they haven't appeared where they were meant to, and for all they know, they could be anywhere! they have since, sent me a letter of apology and refunded the costs of my postage.

i rang up my local depot and asked to speak to the area manager or whoever could sort me out. go as high as you can, and im sure you'll get it sorted :D

failing that, wait for kitch or beanbag to see this thread ;) :)

good luck mate

Your best bet is to go to the posting office you sent it from with the number and get them to check who signed for the goods etc.
the post office will have nothing to do with it need to check with royal mail by t'internet or 'phone

it happened to me and i tried the PO - waste of time - reffered me to RM -turned out the stuff arrived a day later, but the website had updateded it as delivered for "an unknown reason"......

you can also ask for a copy of the signatory, but you need to pay for that.

yes i think it might just turn up late
in which case ill demand ful refund

as for paying to see the signature - nah, you either get it electronically, or free cos of paying for special apparently.
