its all about spacial awaresness, where the oposition are looking at that moment in time and if the window of oppourtunity opens...
lets say for example a whole team is looking in one direction then you would be able to run up the opposite tape line without anyone shooting or even seeing you, but that is unlikely unless its down to a 1on2 / 2on2 etc...
also reading the paint, what the oppopsition are thinking, if the opposition have it crossed up when it comes down to a 2 on 3-4-5-6-7 and so on the last 2 remaining players should 'cross it up' make an x of paint, but obviosly not keeping your lane going all of the time, if this is the case it is almost impossible to bunker out people...
alot of people say look down your tape lines, but if you do that someone can come through the middle and bunker out of of you, imagine you did use an X of paint and watched each other tape lines then nobody will be able to come down the tapes or come through the middle get me?
so yes it all comes down to timing.. reading the paint/where people are looking and that edge to just GO 4 IT.
your teamates can set you up by making a destraction so that all eyes turn on him while you either run up the field as much as possible or obviosly bunkering out your opponent...
you dont want to be shooting his bunker while running up to it other wise he will know that you are coming and may turn on you, only shoot when you can see him (give him a suprise)
i asked ryan greenspan about this and he said go up to the bunker, see which way hes shooting and then make your decision whether to go left or right.
lets so for example it comes down to a 3 on 3 and your players are all on the 30's and so are theirs except for one person who is in the fifty snake, you should send the closest man to go and bunker him because that way if your man bunkers him and he doesnt ge shot thats great!, but if they both get shot then thats also great!, because then it is neutral again rather than them having the advantage, get me?
