THE best way to bunker anyone... run at them as fast as you can, shooting as fast as you can waving your marker around as fast as you can. just so they cant escape. shouting mwahahahahahahahaha.
works for me anyway:rolleyes:

Maybe a little obvious.

But partly the point in bunkering/mugging a player is to immediatly eliminate him from a key position on the field giving your team the advantage..right?

Yeah, sometimes mugging's go wrong. sometimes they do hear you coming, or they get a call from a fellow team mate. The thing that get's me is when you see players pluck up the balls to go for a mugging, then catch a glimpse of the man, slow down (freeze, stop moving) and get lit up by various markers from across the field. The one and only thing that i would strongly reccomend in any bunkering situation is to get paint on that man, I mean keep running, keep the marker up and ready to fire, at worst you will trade off (therefore making the mugging semi succesful becuase you did eliminate a key position). Obviously, if you get half way and clearly get blasted way before you get paint out, accept the failure of the mugging, but learn from it.
soo...
1) Always keep the marker up and ready to fire
2) Listen for any calls, (ie. "YOUR GONNA GET MUGGED YOU FOOL!")
3) Always keep running, dont stop to get murdered, trade paint off with him. and then if your lucky you'll have 4-5 markers and heads turned at you giving your team another advantage.
4) Move at the right moment, use the communication within your squad to determin the position of every man on that field, even where he's looking at that moment in time. then take the chance to move.
:)

Balloon (Not a mugging master)

ps. any injury inflicted from following my advice, is completly and utterly nothing to do with me

There's no answer to that question. There's so many different variables that could affect the situation, what lanes you're going to be crossing, how many guys they have left, whats going on the other side of the field, whether your opposition are dominated or are posting etc etc etc...

As a rule of thumb, common sense would dictate that you stand more chance of success the closer you are to him as you have less way to run, therefore less time to get seen etc...

With regard to making sure you can take him and not get shot out... You'd be lucky... Unless hes the last guy in, chances are you may well get lit up like a christmas tree. If you're lucky enough to make it to him without getting hosed by another one of their backs, when you've tagged your man your gonna get shot to bits.

The job of a mugger isnt to worry about staying alive, its to make sure that you take out your man (men) at all costs. Muggers are normally sent in as a last resort to take the opposition out of a key bunker, for example the snake.

With regard to just making sure you hit the guy, I recommend that you gun battle him and put him in behind his bunker, then run full tilt through any other lanes, slowing down to a steadier speed just before he comes into view and hose the guy.

When you're running, remember to aim to the outside your target (like if you were sweetspotting a runner, just in reverse...) else you're gonna miss him and look like a spanner...

Not if that man is mid-way engaged in a snap/gun battle with another player, and simply cannot afford to move the marker off his man onto you.

when mugging someone anyway, you usually check you have a free lane or you have a back, or someone keeping key member's on the oppsosing team in there own bunkers.

but yeah in some cases, that could well happen.
