ok guys my other half found this online and is getting it for me! a paintball board game with a whole load of mini paintballers and a plastic sup air field! i love crazy assed games like that (yeah im a geek so what?!?! my girl is a beauty so im a geek with game ) go into google and have a look it looks quite amusing and i think will probably be very good for teaching tactics to team mates! when it arrives i will let you all know if it is any good! it will have to do until i get my new 360 n get greg hastings maxd working on xbox live!

I've had paintcheck about 2 years now. It is basically a diced based one turn at a time game (no, not like ludo ).

I hope you are good at angles and working out what the hell the instructions are going on about - as it baffled me (not hard I admit).

I did use it as a training aid though - as the bunkers and players are quite good for that.

If you like games like D'n'D then you'll like this. If you can't stand the "if you roll a 3 and put your left hand behind your back while balancing on one leg" type games - then steer clear.

Let me know how you get on with it - as I may just un-Davinci-code the instructions and play it properly.

i love anything wargamey so this should be great! i have heard a few horror stories about the rules being stupidly complex but i like a challenge and if the rules suck i could probably write a decent set myself incorporating everything snapshooting, etc. i just look forward to getting it!

actually upon reading more reviews the rules to this actually suck say a whole load of people so im gonna start writing my own rules system during boredom time at work! let me know everything you want to see in a tabletop paintball board game (snapshooting, quick play, breakout, etc) and i will get started coz i know for certain i can make a paintball game that will whoop paintcheck. it will be easier to play and understand for a start.
