Firstly I have no preference on tourny series at all, I play all of em, but your statements about the PA are absolute festive bollox.

Look at the teams playing div 1 PA and then look at the teams playing div 1 uk masters and nspl, no comparison really. The best teams in the uk play the PA, simple.

If your gonna hate on the PA then thats your choice, but thats not what this thread is for and not imo justified.

You said no one liners but I am too X-massed to write too much:

1. PA... No thanks! Too small and too un-important to matter in the UK scene.

2. NSPL one of the best series in the UK. Syd has always tried to push the sport forward and always come up with great ideas!

3. UK Masters...Wendy and Co make sure you get a wicked day balling for your money with good teams accross the board!

Bury the PA please! Thank you!

BAD TO THE BONE
PA, Masters, NSPL combined.Played all around the uk
Mmmmmmm.........

You could run all the different Lges at the same time at the same event.

or PA host/marshall- Masters host/marshall- NSPL Host/marshall X 3
with a big 'open' tourny to end up with ?
May have to be a 2dayer. With 60-80 teams involved the trade would think it worthwhile to attend.

oh well back to reality ;)

Mikey - nice idea - but it will never happen. Too much back-stabbing and in-fighting going on (I believe the PC name for it is 'politics').

A lot of people fell out with the PA for various reasons (a post above proves this) - a few fell out with the UKM and some have even fell out with Syd.

Oh, and who gets any 'profit' from this combined league? Every organisation has a vested interest - so do you charge 3 times as much for entry and split it between the 'big 3'?

This isn't even taking the main UK representation in to account - namely the UKPSF.

If Bully was to start his own national league - I am sure a lot would back it (at first). But even the attraction of the big man won't be enough to keep everyone interested.

Then you have the teams that drift in and out of each round. This was the PA's biggest problem (I believe they tried to charge teams for non-attendance).

Having a 'you must attend every round (or at least pay for it)' league won't work - as has been proved. I remember when Upminster Halloween had to pay the full entry fee for round 5 (first season) - even though they never attended. Then got a bill for the rest of the 2nd season having dropped out half-way through (hence Oli's post above).

Now, I am not picking on the PA just because I have 'issues' with it - but because I know the above is fact - as I don't deal in hearsay and conjecture ;).

So Taffy - simple answer is 'no'.

I'll hold off on this one, as i've brought this suggestion up many times.;)
As have many others Tom - and the sheer fact that nothing has ever happened about it just proves the UK paintball disease is still rife!

If people don't know what the UK paintball disease is - it's one little word that somes up 99% of UK players - APATHY!

all you people moaning about a few hours travel, imagine coming to glasgow to play events.... :> then sympathise with us scots !
Lol, travel will always be a problem whether people live an hour from the site or an entire days travel away.
Great idea on paper but sadly real life applications don't work so well.

I realy hope this doesn't turn into a who dislikes which series for what reason and the usual "UK ball is pants I was born in the wrong country". Realy looking forward to Robbos reply :)
