I've never had a problem with my proteus leaving me cut up, I've moved to a proflex now cos' they're lighter.

As you have a spectra faceplate already, if you chuck me a couple of quid for postage I'll send you a gold/green proteus w/out the frame, then if you don't like it you can just bin it or give it away or something

Forgot to mention, changing E-vent lenses is super easy (Just don't lose the tabs). I have heard of i3's taking 1/2 hour or more to change.

yeh e-vent lense are dead easy to change, probaly just as quick as profiler lense's.

i3 lense's dont take quite that long to change, but there absolute thumb destroyers, i would love to see someone do it on a cold winter morning! and not swear!

Yeah i3 lenses are a bugger to change, takes me about 20minutes to change and replace and then my thumbs hurt for another 20minutes after! The e-vents are a good choice, they have quick change, good pheriperal vision and looks like sex. So yeah E-vents!
