Looks like the missus isn't getting a xmas pressie this year, just may have to get both pairs, dilema solved!!!! lol

Not sure id anyone i know has anything like that, there seems to be a big DYE craze around here but i really don't like them, i'm after something different, like ahdinko says those proteus's cha, eleons are different and good looking, but no one wears them, so something different there, now these e-vents LOOK F@#KING GOOD no one wears them, not worried about price and the reviews look awesome I am swaying towards the e-vents at the moment so may come looking to that post once the xmas money is counted and verified and see if there is any chance of making a late order!!

Thanks guys for the advise any other thought just add them mnore info the better, as i don't really want to waste my money

The empire events look real nice

The new vfroce grills look real nice

The new I3 pros look real nice

which i will be going for in the new year.... no idea. They all look like quality masks but im not sure which ones the best. Heard good things about the I3's and the events, and these goggles have been proven, but the way the vforce works is very appealing but they havent proven themselfs yet, so im still stuck lol

A guy on my team had the Proteus and always had cut lips. The pattern of holes in front of the mouth is perfect for sending high speed shards of shell into your lips. You could argue its negative reinforcement to not get shot in the face but its not particularly pleasant.

V-force FTW!! ive tried the i3's, events, profilers and grillz.

Grillz are damn sexy imo and are not common atm, be one of the first to have them. You can cahnge the foam on them, os your never stuck with sweaty foam on the second day on a tourney.

Profilers rock also, if its style and uniqueness you want, go for a pair of the new coloured SE's, they are awesome, un-equalled vision.

It IS personal preference, all im saying is try and wear all of them before purchasing. If you can't do this before making your decision (i couldn't) just don't rule out these goggs before going with events.

Don't rule out the proto axis- very quick lense change and a great rubberised mask to offer more than a bounce or two, similar design to the i3's but different enough to be individual.

Make sure tho you try on the mask before you settle on one, some masks have shorter front plates or narrow fittings which may annoy or expose some peoples faces.

Not implying you have a weird head- that'd be rude!:p

I must agree with AB try proto axis first are they are very fast on the lense changing sector and are actually very comfortabb... dont dismiss goggles you just dont like the look of.....try and see ;)

Go with the E-vents

I have owned a pair of Proteus's and (thou nice) are not up to the standard of E-vents IMHO.

As has been said before, the proteus mouth piece lets to much in. The mask is so close to your face that you get high velocity shards flying around the mouth/jaw area. I once took a close range hit and had cuts around my mouth and across my cheek.

I also prefer the feel and look of the E-vents. (see my post in pimp goggles)
