surely changing nipples would be cheaper and a more effective solution than a blanket ban on 3000psi bottles. Considering 3000psi are more in use in this country...

First of all you have to find a different 4500psi rated quick dissconnect fitting that has a 1/8" bspt/npt thread, then change every 4500/5000psi rated preset/air system. Great idea if you're the only company selling such a fitting, you'll make a fortune.

I didnt know that 3000 psi air systems were so popular amongst high div tourney players. If that is the case, then yeah, it would be more effective to change nipples I expect.

they're not i would guess, but what about those players who decide to join from the woods who cant afford a new system?

A new nipple would be the most cost effective solution i would of thought? i could be wrong. hey tom, true, but surely it would be cheaper all round for players to get a new nipple?

Hang about, what am i on about - surely the easiest and cheapest solution is to only fill to 3000psi?

that way no-one has to buy anything and you can be damn sure no one is gonna explode themselves.

academic - xball doesn't take up that much air...whilst its nice to have 4500 you dont need it in xball.

Note im only suggesting it for the PA - other tourneys have to go on the advice from their insurers...
