Pete, I see Nexus are on the list of teams that use Reballs on the Reballs web site. Did Nexus regularly train with them whilst you were with them, or is this something they have recently taken up, or is the web site incorrect?

Also, if the UK Pro teams are not using them, does this mean they are overlooking the benefits of their use?

Or is the use the Reballs at Pro level inappropriate or unrequired?

We need to want it Mikey, and I mean really want it, not just talk about it, not just post on threads, I mean train, and train hard.
Just glanced over the posts so i hope the mikey you refer to is me. As far sat training and training hard goes, im not for one minute saying im some sort of "training freak" but with arrange a Monthly trip to oslo JUST to train with reballs i think is slightly a bigger step than most, some people may say why waste the money, its not just the reballs its the team thats there aswell.

The uk NEED reballs, but what it needs first is people who will get over their lazy ass and be prepared to travel up to 4 hours to train, Sh!t i have friends who travel up to 8hours to train on buses and trains.

All you hear on this forum is, awww would love to make but cant get there. B0ll0cks, trains or buses will get you anywhere in the uk.

I think it was buddha who said it not so long ago, or maybe baca, alot of people who think they train hard dont train hard at all, until you have been and taken part within a solid CPL team training, only then in my opinion will you understand what hard training is all about.

Teams like the kellys could be so much better than they are, and you guys f****** rock as you are, but if those guys had the facilities like JOY and MEANCE f*** like robbo said weruling to roost this side of the atlantic again in no time

Not being funny but D7's is closer - cheaper to get to - and i think Nexus n Shock are good enough for you to train against...

Think someone just like shooting FLC's - or getting shot out (and down :D) by them...

I love Reball, for months i have been trying to erect my 'personal reball gym'. But it is quite hard. I mean im not lazy but there is so much to consider, and the initial cost is huge, despite my knowing that in will be a worth while invest in the long run. I have no problem getting to venues like D7, but im not avalialbe the whole time, so training at home its perfecto!

Nope sorry to dissapoint mate its not the charms, CPL team i said.

D7's is closer your right, but like someone already said in this thread, reball training is a different type of training.

Mikey, my point here is why aren't the UK pro teams using them? (Or are they?) Surely they are the guys that our motivated players look up to and meet at our training venues and by leading by example could dramatically increase the awareness of the benefits of using Reballs in training.

Yes, you can argue that we can look to Joy for that inspiration, but Joy aren't at NQ or D7s every other weekend.

I am not trying to defend the attitude of our tournament players in the UK. I just don't see the point in these discussions unless we can try to come out of them with some positives and real answers.

Ha, yeah that would be the day... This would be for Personal use. There is no way at 15 i have the facilities or money to start up a reball centre. However that would be soooo cool.

Angus.

In my opinion there is no posisitive and real answers, UK BALLERS are lazy end off.

Im unsure if our pro teams use reballes, but if they did id guess at them not using them in the uk
