Yeh im in 6th form and im on one of those now
all because i missed a homework deadline because i was ill, now id hardly say thats fair.
Its unbelievable how many little yr 7 kids think that they are hard and basicly cause havoc and they get away with it, yet I as a senior member of the school, who has never been in trouble before really, get put on report for 3 weeks for missing couple of homeworks
I def think they should bring back the cane, i wouldnt mind a smack or two as long as i saw all the little scrots getting a smack too.

ya sorry ..anyhoo back to the ASBO generation ,what im failing to say is that bringing back corpral punishment on it's own wont make a rats arse worth of difference, its a whole PC ,liberal,understanding society thing, which is even easier to play by any kid with half a brain than it was when i was at school.

how soon we forget ,while I always like an extreme reaction to our governments policies I feel a bullet in the back of the head is a bit harsh ,we didn't do it when it really mattered (anyone remember Thatcher) and I personally think the above people have done a lot of good for the country.

I remember Maggie being in charge and one thing she did do well was WAR!! There was only the one and we won it with not as many casualties as we are currently seeing being spread so thinly in everybody elses wars. The people who have done so well in this country have also lost us a large amount of industry, Rover, HP and Peugeot, so the statistics they portray are not entirely correct as Peugeot and HP still have to fully close there factories. This is my own opinion of course!

The laws are definately too lenient where punishment is involved and bringing back the stricter laws and punishments could have the desired outcome but I personally think the country is too far gone and we have too many spineless a**e kissing politicians in charge. They seem to have forgot that we were an Empire and a force to be reckoned with but as long as their pockets are well lined thats OK.

Back to ** nation or not as the case maybe!! IMO if youngsters have no respect face to face with elders then you have got no chance where they can type what they like, there are no real consequences in actual life so using t'internet is an even easier option for throwing abuse for them!!!
