I got some mail from millennium xball sup'airball fields, but i want to buy a place or possibility to play Xball in the Semi Pro Division (millennium) with my team.

I'm seeing a’ lot of more offers for buying spots in the future, maybe the MS board should open a OPEN/Semi PRO division for plenty of teams that don’t have a spot on CPL or SPL and want to play a higher level than div2.

Don't think it's just the level, cos the top teams in Div 2 (div 1 next year ?) are no sloutches and thats still open I belive. Probably more to do with the format ! But at the end of the day, should a team be allowed to buy stright in cos I hazard a guess we're not talking a TOP draw team here like the legion buying into the NPPL ! If the teams good enough enter div 2 (1) and earn in. If your teams truly Top draw, doubt you'ed need to post on here to find a spot ?

There is also the chance, some teams didn't bother to qualify, and can go to div 2 play sandbagger style.
I don't think that’s fair for the div 2 costumer teams, or even to the teams that want and can play in higher divisions but simply didn't play the full Series the two past seasons.

But that’s just me thinking.
For example, any US team that wants to come over and play has to play in div2, thats plain ridicule at least.
Even PSP had the courtesy to arrange for an Open division at World Cup, and mix the Div 1 (top teams not committed to play in the NXL) with all the teams that wanted to play good and equivalent teams, and not sandbag in div 2 or div 3.

If we want to play xball and don't want to play 7-mann format what can we do?.
In the EEPL(East European Paintball League) the Div1 will be xball style next year. We want to play there and in the X5German xball series and if we could get a place we want to play xball in the millennium too. Why i have to play in div1 7mann format through 2-3 years if i don't like it?.
Almost all of our players played all the millennium event in Div1 in different teams and some of us played in the X5series too this year , but next year we want to play altogether. We like the normal 5mann format and the xball. I have a Div1 place for next year but we don.t want to play 7mann next year....We want to play xballl. That's all.

Good teams don't want to sandbag, they want to play the best.

Case in point is Dynasty, currently out of the locked divisions and now IF they want to come over they have to play in Div2? that doesn't help them or us in anyway so they're actually more likely to miss out Europe as they can't play a higher level of teams.

As for PSP - the NPPL is about to announce that the Semi-Pro division will stay open and not be locked as they said before. The fact that they didn't ever have the full number of teams to lock it at 32 might have something to do with it as well

I competley understand why you want to buy into this if it's a preference for formats. Hope you stick around here more often and don't worry about the English, most of us on here aren't much better
