Yes (Dynasty Supporter) 103 28.53%
Yes (Joy Supporter) 62 17.17%
No (Dynasty Supporter) 74 20.50%
No (Joy Supporter) 122 33.80%

20% of dynasty fans that vote thought it was the wrong call...
...and a third of Joy fans thought they did call it right... works both ways.

I agree with Pete that when it comes to situations like this there are no definites and who of us would pony up and go "we'd have made exactly the right call in that whole 10 or less second window". I didn't see BC get shot going to the snake, Magued said it was twice in the arm, Chicago said it was the goggles. So we'd each call something different seeing the same thing and we were all actually there! While I agree that some pics are useful (the armband one seems particularly damning if that's the basis of the penalty) you can not and should not take a picture out of context, especially if you weren't there to understand the speed and relative placements when these things happen.

If the final call was a 3-4-1 on Scandal, then I completely agree with Magued, there are serious questions that are raised - nothing I saw at the time or since would give that call. Would I have given Scandal a 1-4-1? Yeah if I was the ref at the time seeing it in real time and having to make the call there and then. But then I would have missed BC getting shot on the way in...

I also agree with everything that's been said about how well Joy handled themselves, they didn't bundle the refs or storm the field but tried to find things out in a calm manner. They were true sportsman at the end and should be congratulated and acknowledged as such.

I'd also like to point out that (personally) I think it's a shame that Dynasty has gone through so much this season and their first win of the year (and the series title) is marred by reffing controversy. I'm sure they would have preffered to win (or lose) through a clear cut 1 on 1 duel than this drawn out arguement that nobody is every going to completely agree on.

Magued, can you confirm if there were three starters missing from your line up for this event? If so that's an even bigger achievement for how you did.

Actually, the numbers mean that 20% of the respondents are Dynasty fans AND consider the call wrong. Of the Dynasty fans, 42% thought the call was wrong.

To put it another way:
- 45.70% thought the call was right (Dynasty and Joy supporters)
- 54.30% thought the call was wrong (Dynasty and Joy Supporters)

- 1/3 (33%) of Joy supporters thought the call was right
- 3/7 (42%) of Dynasty supporters thought the call was wrong

i had like half a page written on this but honestly, I don't think anyone gives a **** so i'm not going to bother. Just blame it on the crappy, horrible, biased, unfair refs. It's always their fault when someone loses.
No really, refs are evil. Like goblins. Or cock-a-roaches.

Joy were robbed, I had a great veiw of the game, and they were robbed. I would be interested to hear where Beaker was sitting, seeing as he seems to disagree with everyone I spoke to at the event. I don't blame Dynasty either, but fact is, they should have lost that game.

One more thing, the squealing punk-ass little bxtches that were trying to claim that WDP/PP is fixing games in the NPPL for their teams to win (I heard one XSV player and one ND player claim this after Joy utterly destroyed them respectively) may now shut their little bxtch mouths. There's nothing worse than a bad loser. It is especially unbelievable that an XSV player would accuse anyone of this. 'People that live in glass houses....' and all that. The bigger these fxckers ego's get, the more they look for pathetic excuses for why they suck. ****ers. The XSV player actually walked up to Ged and asked him if he was paying the refs. A stupid question, as he does indeed pay ALL the refs, albeit indirectly.
Some people just suck I suppose.

Andrew.

I break it down for you. We lost the game according to Dan Perez beacuse our player continued to play after he got hes armband removed and recived a 3-4-1
Dan Perez says it clearly in the video, and continue to state that this is what he saw himself. Now if we look at the picture we clearly see that Scandal still have hes armband on long after the situation. So we call this a blatant lie, what would you call it?

http://www.blacklistphoto.com/photos...6/IMG_6771.jpg

even have to ask why both Dynasty players without armbands is still in area acting reffs and shooting at Sebban without you guys are doing anything about it?

A mistake is one thing, to blatantly lie is another thng. And thats exactly what Dan Perez have done. The question is why?
