Does it matter what sort pressure of Air tanks you use on the EGOs?

Keep seeing referance to High & Low preset pressure bottles, are these just 4500psi & 3000 psi..?

I have a min max flow 4500 and what to know if this is a good thing to strap to a future purchase of an EGO06 or 07?

thanks

Paul

4500psi and 3000psi are not HP OR LP
this refers only to the storage pressure capacity of the vessel itself

HP or LP refers to the regulated output of said vessel, acheived by a regular of some description - either preset HP 850psi or LP 450psi

adjustable regulators allow for user defined variation from around 200-1000psi - thereby alowing you to use them with any marker.

i use the same micro maxflo regulator with a 4500 1.1litre bottle on an etek and its a nice setup so yes you will be able to use it on an EGO of any descrition perfectly.

EGO's will run on HP or LP but some people reckon the recharge rate of a LP will struggle when quick firing.
I always use 5000psi HP tanks and have never had a problem.

Oh, ps. there is no 07!!!;)
on an 05 ego i tried an LP (angel preset) and it worked fine
same bottle on an 06 = shootdown.

so id stick with HP regulator output pressure of around 800-850psi.
micro maxflo are preset at HP so work great

Thanks lovetone.

So to recap you're saying the 4500psi & 3000 psi is just the max pressure that the bottle can take fill wise.
The HP & LP on presets refers to a regulated release of air? ot which if mem serves me correct on the micro max flow is about 800psi?

There you go.;)
Cheers lovetone, Like I said, I have always used HP and didnt know about the recharge rate.
I just tell Ledz I want an air system and he sends what I need.:D

Yes, the 4500 and 3000psi is what pressure the bottle will fill to. It is the reg that is either HP or LP.
As for the maxflo are they not adjustable to HP or LP???
Sorry I have never used one;)

the new micro max flo are a preset (HP, 850psi)
you can rebuild the reg (with parts as paul says) to be compatible with either 3000psi or 4500psi fill pressures

interestingly, they come with a gauge that reads up to 6000psi  :)
