from what i understand the dutch connection is the reason there is no dam, the guys found that puttin it on was havin a detrimental effect on their own rec ball business, because of the time and effort needed to get the event organised. i personally would love to see it back because the whole tournie had a good feel to it, plenty of space and nice grass (no reference to the ganja) but on the downside it was quiet a way from amsterdam city.

Will they by any chance have the UK event somewhere else than crystal palace? That place was not satisfactory by any means..(imo).





(and the fact that MILL-recomended hotels werent 8 minutes away by foot as stated but 15 minutes with a crazy cabdriver.. Wont make that mistake again :S)

I heard the other day that another couple of venues are being looked at with Crystal as backup. So it's fair to say The Millennium are trying to arrange something better.

so they scrap marseille and malaga cos its expensive for some...fair do's fair do's....but they keep germany where u have to pay to get ure marker stamped so u can use it?

Also did you see the whole dates that are "subject to change"

anyone else think thats just to cover their backs after they had a load of complaints when they moved it this year cos HB was at the same time? or just cos they havnt sorted it all out yet.

and last but not least. why not just do all x-ball. u got 2 x-ball leagues and a 5 man. why not just go for it and do it

I think I heard the estimate for using the Millennium Dome was in the region of quarter of a million pounds, though not sure if that was for the whole event or per day!
