I cut mine at the last NSPL with the saw blade out of a multi tool.

Took ages but worked fine.

I have seen that thread and for that you will need:

Hacksaw
Ruler
Tape Measure
Toilet roll
Scissors
Paper, pencil, straight edge
Scotch tape
Your gun's feedneck
Your hopper
I used a palm sander, but Sandpaper works just fine
Tissues, Paper towels
Metal or wood file (if you feel it necessary)
A strong grip with either left or right hand!!!

just did it, perfect, sit's flush with the feedneck now, and it isnt sky high now.
