Confused - full-auto, semi-auto, rebound, 3 shot burst.

I'm confused. Am i right in saying that 3 shot burst basically fires 3 shots with one pull of a trigger? Semi-auto is one pull of a trigger means one ball is fired then another reloaded? Full-auto means fully automatic, IE you hold the trigger down and it continually fires? What is rebound firing mode?

Also, on http://www.ukpsf.com/paintballlaw.asp#2 it says: Paintball markers must not be fully automatic i.e. when pulling the trigger once, two or more paintballs must not be discharged.
Does this mean it is illegal to be in possession of one of these guns or what?

no its not illegal your just not allowed full auto, 3 shot burst. your only alowed true semi-auto. e.g. 1 shot per 1 trigger pull

rebound is when you hit the back of the trigger pull a shot is fired, and another is fired when it hits the front of the pull - effectively a shot for every pull and release of the trigger.

You say i'm not alowd full auto, 3 shot burst. Does this mean that I can't buy a gun with those modes or just that i have to only use the gun in Semi-auto mode?

Yer you can buy the gun just only allowed to use it on semi-auto in most tournements

Cool. Thats all i would probably use it for. Dont really want to be firing between 15 and 30 balls per second. It would cost me a fortune. Especially considering that I am 15 and oly earn £3.00 a hour. lol

The only mode allowed that is in anyway similar to the modes you mentioned, is ramping.
This is not allowed in every tournament series, but it essentially gives you added shots the faster you pull the trigger, up to a set limit which is usually 15bps.
